Employment Services

LEF’s Employment Ontario Program is a key advantage for our newcomer clients that are seeking employment. LEF has relationships with over 400 employers, maintains a job board, hosts job fairs, and provides work placements and job matches to newcomers. We also offer pre-employment support to develop skills for job search, resume writing and interviewing. We help clients understand their values and skills; recognize and address their barriers to employment; articulate their transferable skills; increase knowledge of the labour market and pursue their career goals.

Our settlement supports newcomers in navigating the various employment and training programs at LEF and offered by other service providers and provides customized support for newcomers.
