Early Childcare Assistant for Newcomers
Classes Begin August 14th
Start your journey to a rewarding career in the Child Care sector!
This 21-week course is designed for newcomers with intermediate English language skills.
This program is instructed online and in person and includes:
- Training in ECA skills and Occupation-Specific Language Training (OSLT)
- Two work placements in the childcare field
- Expert instruction by experienced childcare professionals
- Essential certifications provided: WHMIS, Standard First Aid & CPR Level C, Food Handler Certificate, LEF Early Childhood Assistant Certificate
Eligibility:
- CLB 5-7
- Must be a recipient of Ontario Works
- Eligible to work in Ontario
- Fully vaccinated as per public health guidelines
